Our Mission

The mission of the Mid-Atlantic Region of Environmental Professionals (MAREP) is to provide opportunity for professional development and environmental awareness for environmental professionals, organizations and the community of Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.

MAREP will strive to meet its mission through meetings, educational programs events, mentoring, and community involvement. MAREP also aligns itself with the goals and code of ethics for environmental professionals as provided by its parent organization, the National Association of Environmental Professionals (NAEP).

Annual Holiday Party 2011

Your best opportunity to network with other environmental professionals, learn, and have fun all in one place!

Join us for our 2011 Holiday Party at the Green Building Institute in Jessup, MD. As featured on NBC News, the Green Building Institute is best described as an incubator of environmental education, awareness, and example.

Our guest speaker will be Tom Hucker, Maryland House of Delegates, District 20. Mr. Hucker has been a member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 20 since 2007 and is a leader on environmental Issues within the Maryland State legislature.

This event promises to be fun, festive, and informative:

  • Presentation by Tom Hucker.
  • Guided tour of the Green Building Institute facility.
  • Light hors d'oeuvres, beer, and wine provided by Ashtead Technologies and MAREP.
  • Networking with fellow environmental professionals.
